The Crystel pays tribute to the raw beauty of geodes, crystals formed over time by dramatic natural forces, concealing immaculate forms within coarse rock. Compositions of faceted light and crisp shadow evoke the moment of discovery, when what was hidden is finally revealed. The shifting layers of the piece change with every viewing angle, making each encounter with it feel different from the last.
